I am a dreamer. When awake, I day dream through books, music, movies, and generally through out the day. I would like to say that I dream a lot in my sleep and remember them vividly and at length-- because this is actually true, the only difference being that they tend all too often to be nightmares. I can write a great deal, though how well is to be debated by none less than my own pessimistic self doubt. I really like my ideas, however, and the day dreaming I used to do before falling asleep has fallen away, creatively speaking. Last night, for example, I woke up sometime in the absurd hours of the morning, used the jon, then dosed off in front off the TV. The news had been on and something about Iraq was being reported.... I found my self rolling around in the desert sand. Quite dissatisfied with my position, I futilely try to stand, but manage only barely. Then I decide that achieving the nearby sand hill would be a choice direction to go. Getting up this thing is as difficult as I imagined it would be, and I continue to struggle while my mind continues to wonder why exactly it is that I am bothering. Well, achieving the top is done, and I see a not too far off cottage or other. I am overcome by the fact that I am in Iraq. What an unpleasant place to be, not to mention the timing. I spy on the cottage and it seems to be home to a small family. It is actually quite quaint, but entirely open to the elements. It seems to be pleasant enough of a place for decent weather, but what of sand storms, etc. I actually want to get to know the people of this place, but something keeps me back....
